One in every 10 Americans say they suffer from depression, at least occasionally. The World Health Organization predicts depression will be the second leading cause of disability and premature death starting next year. With so many Americans eating GMOs daily, it’s no wonder. These pesticide-laden foods affect cognition, neural impulses, hormones, and massive mood swings. Now, there seems to be a natural remedy breakthrough that mediates an antidepressant effect – it’s called Mucuna pruriens, and you’ve probably never heard of it.
In a scientific study conducted a few years ago and then published in the U.S. National Library of Medicine via the NIH (National Institutes of Health), researchers discovered that the dopaminergic interaction of Mucuna Pruriens proved to help lab-tested animals pass stress tests with flying colors.
Plus, the natural legume filled a void of dopamine at certain sites in the brain, curing depression states caused by functional deficits of monoamines (norepinephrine, serotonin and dopamine). In other words, a lack of motivation was adjusted using a natural remedy, the medicinal plant Mucuna, that provides L-dopa (precursor to the natural production of dopamine by the body) as a boost that eliminates stress. Bye-bye depression.
Where prescription medications cause horrific side effects, including more severe anxiety, depression, and lack of will, this natural remedy is proving to help manage diseases, including Parkinson’s, with minimal-to-no side effects. Mucuna is also known as (Indian) Cowitch, and has an extensive history of use in traditional Ayurvedic medicine.
Mucuna pruriens contain a wide range of phytochemical constituents that are extracted from the seeds, ground up into a powder, and sold in capsule form as a supplement. The roots of Mucuna can safely treat neuropathy, ulcers, fever, and nephropathy (kidney disease).
The leaves are useful for treating inflammation, general debility, parasitic infections, headaches, and erectile dysfunction.
The seeds are being clinically utilized as anti-venom for snakebites, and to treat tuberculosis, impotence, muscular pain, epilepsy, gout, diabetes, and even cancer. That’s just the tip of the iceberg folks.
Scientists are celebrating, as the proof comes pouring in from clinical research, that the seeds of M. pruriens are restoring damaged neurotransmitters in the brain, including the substantia nigra, or the basal ganglia mid-brain that plays a vital role in reward and movement. This all translates to successful treatment of depression via dopa-minergic action, according to the anti-depressant profiles documented in the study.
Yes, we have proof of success with this natural transformation. An 82-year-old woman with dementia reversed her loss of memory, even after she wasn’t able to recognize her own son anymore. That’s when all American doctors tell you there’s no hope. That’s because “modern medicine” is mostly a hoax. From vaccines to prescription medications, they’re all just a bunch of chemicals that worsen overall health while exacerbating the root causes, as they tell you “there’s no cure.”
Yet, Mrs. Hatzer’s son saved her from the nightmare that was causing her dementia – her food. After realizing that people in Mediterranean countries have much lower dementia rates, Mark Hatzer switched his mom over to “brain foods,” including blueberries, walnuts, kale, broccoli, spinach, dark chocolate, green tea, sweet potatoes, and sunflower seeds.
Then, the two of them began engaging cognitive stimulation activities like puzzles and social get-togethers. After a few months, it worked! This is a success story that should be all over mass media, but it just doesn’t fit the sick-care narrative or the advertisement schemes.
Smart, preventative and curative “moves” for “fixing” dementia? Top four right here: Avoid tap water; eliminate heavy metal toxins (especially aluminum and mercury, which are both found in vaccines); avoid canola oil (even organic, expeller pressed) like the plague; watch out for anything else that coagulates in the blood, like animal fat, vegetable shortenings, and margarine.
